You'll complete the following to successfully create an analytics dashboard:
Est. time to complete: ~1 minute
Within your workspace, you may create as many analytics dashboards as needed to display a variety of select metrics for you and different stakeholders to monitor:
Select Analytics from workspace menu > Choose + Add dashboard
Enter a name for your dashboard
Choose the dashboard's visibility setting (Private/Public)
Select from an available template
Overview: Provides general traffic metrics
Performance: Tracks health of workspace webhooks/APIs (Actions and Data requests)
User experience: Focuses on how users converse with deployed bots and NLP performance
Est. time to complete: ~5 minutes
If desired, enhance a template by adding more panels (+ Add panel) or editing existing panels:
From your analytics dashboard, hover on a panel > Choose edit icon
Change or choose Chart type, Metric, & Theme
Expand Filters section > Specify whether to include/exclude resources from data displayed
Click Save
Est. time to complete: ~2 minutes
Recolor and reorder the panels that comprise your dashboard to easily scan and prioritize data:
Select a dashboard > Click the Edit dashboard link
Click and drag panels to their new position across the dashboard
Hover on a panel > Select edit icon
Tap color circle beside panel name > Select color
When done, click Save
For dashboards that feature a Bar chart, Line chart, or Table, you can choose to compare multiple metrics against within the same panel:
Select a dashboard > Click the Edit dashboard link
Enter a name > Select Bar chart, Line chart, or Table for Chart type
Click + Add dataset or + Add data column > Enter name
Select a metric to track
Choose the time interval (e.g., Day shows results on a daily basis) and aggregation
Click + Add dataset link > Repeat steps above for additional datasets/data columns
Click Save
If needed, apply filters under each metric to create a subset of data.
If the performance of a particular metric dips above or below a critical threshold, you can easily create an alert to display in your workspace's Notification center and to auto-email specific individuals:
Navigate to an Analytics dashboard > Hover on panel > Select bell icon
Enter trigger criteria & time interval
Select subscriptions to receive email notifications
Click Create alert
