What's an intent flow?

An intent always involves a conversation workflow that completes a task for a user. The conversation flow is constructed of messaging and logic to accomplish a task. Flows are designed in NLX's Canvas builder, which allows you to visually map out the series of steps for a task.

An intent may have multiple flows created for the same task that correspond to a communication channel. A voice channel may require steps that differ from a text channel, for example. Otherwise, you may assign several communication channels to the same flow.

• at least one node added to the Canvas
