Journeys: Languages

Manage translations of journeys in NLX's Dialog Studio

What's the Languages tab?

Languages manages the translations of messaging in your journey's steps.

Ensure intent flows and bots that will access your journey have been translated to match the language(s) your journey supports.

Access

To access this feature, click the Languages tab of your journey:

Adding languages

• Select Languages tab of your journey

• Click + Add new language > Choose language(s) from dropdown

• To remove a language from the list, click the remove icon beside it

• Click Save

Managing translations

When new languages are added at the workspace level via Translations, they may be applied globally to your resources in Dialog Studio. However, you may add/remove languages at the journey level to override your workspace's language settings.

Auto-translation

• Select Manage translations next to supported language

• Choose Auto-translate all > Confirm

Optional

• Exclude marked translations: Excludes translating messaging previously marked as translated

• Mark as translated: Records current translation process as marked, so it may be excluded among future translations

• Skip all translations: Select if you do not want the journey's steps translated or no proper translation exists

Manual translation

• Select Manage translations next to supported language

• Type translation for each step of a journey

• Click Save

Optional

• Expand journey step > Mark as not translated allows auto-translate to overwrite the translation if this feature is used in the future

• Expand journey step > Skip translation if you do not want the step translated or no proper translation exists
