Quickly set up the Alexa communication integration into your NLX Dialog Studio workspace

Integrate Alexa

If you are looking to launch skills through the Amazon Alexa ecosystem, a one-time setup in Dialog Studio is all that's needed to manage your Alexa skills automatically. This simply requires you to link your Alexa Developer account to Dialog Studio:

• Navigate to workspace Settings > Select the Integrations tab

• Choose + Add integration link > Select Alexa from the Type dropdown

• Provide a name for your Alexa integration

• Click Link Account > Follow steps

Return to your Dialog Studio workspace when account linking is complete

• When ready, click Create integration

At any time, you may edit or delete your Alexa integration by expanding the integration name and selecting the edit or delete icons.

Set up bot using Alexa channel

To successfully use your Alexa integration with bots created in your workspace, be sure to complete the following:

• create the Alexa channel on your bot's Channels tab. Be sure to select your workspace integration from the dropdown and enter the Skill invocation name

• add Alexa as either a primary or secondary channel to any intent flows accessed by your bot

• create a bot build & deploy
